The Kingdom of God!

Chapter 69

As this year draws to a close and we get ready to celebrate the Christmas season, I want to share with you an encouraging prophetic word. I know that as the year approaches its closing that many of you have been thinking about the many victories that the Lord accomplished in your life this past year. While there were many challenges in 2021 and in the political realm things didn't turn out the way we hope they would have, we can look to the spiritual realm and see that the Lord has done great things on our behalf.

God knew in advance that we would face many battles, but He also knew that He would be with us to overcome them. You cannot be an over comer without going through a battle. The Lord said in Isaiah 43:1-3,

"Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called you by your name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you. For I am the LORD your God!"

Notice that He said when you pass through the rivers and the fire, they will not overcome you! Why is this so? Because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world! John said in 1 John 4:4,

"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world!"

We have been taught by religion that we are just sinners saved by grace! This has formed a mistaken identity in us as to who we are! John tells us that we are of God! We are not sinners saved by grace! We are children saved from the curse that Adam put on us by breaking a law of our Father. Jesus came as the Son of man and paid the price it took to buy us back! We are not SINNERS!

When the Holy Spirit reveals this to you, you will be able to have peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. You will no longer have to struggle trying to make yourself fit for the Kingdom of God! Paul said in Romans 14:17,

"For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."

So, as we look ahead to 2022, we can anticipate a new season that is different from anything we have experienced before. One of the prophetic words that the Lord spoke over three years ago was that the new decade would be different and we have certainly seen that! However, it wasn't that the decade would be different in a negative way, but rather that God would bring new things into the earth and in this nation that would display His glory!

Satan is a good hearer! He heard what the Lord said through His prophets and immediately began to try to deceive the people into looking at what he was doing in the natural! So many people today have fallen into his trap and because they believe the drive through media, they have become fearful of what is happening. They have fallen into Satan's trap. They have taken their eyes off of the word of God and focus on what the world is doing!

The good news is that the Lord is still on His throne and is setting a trap for Satan that he is falling into and he will be bound for a set period of time while the greatest movement of the Lords Spirit the Church has ever seen takes place and it will affect the culture and the nations in order to bring about the last days harvest! Not only in our cities but in our entire nation!

One of the things the Lord is saying today as we prepare for the new year is, "What do you want me to do for you? In the story of blind Bartimaeus, Jesus knew what the man needed but He asked him what do you want for me to do for you? Bartimaeus was crying out to Jesus and the people around him were trying to shut him up so when Jesus heard him crying out, He asked him, "What do you want for me to do for you?"

The Lord is asking us the same thing today as we prepare for the new year. "What do you want me to do for you!" James said in James 4:2,

"You have not, because you ask not."

I can remember back in the 40's making a list for Santa Clause and sending it to the radio station and listening to hear Santa read it over the air. Santa was a fairytale and yet we listened to hear our name on the radio station. We have someone who is real and not a fairytale and He is in authority of all things that we can go to and ask Him for our needs. John said in 1 John 5:14,

"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us: And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him."

That is a very powerful statement by the great Apostle John! If you don't know what the will of God for you is, go to the word of God and listen to what He says and then do it! Jesus said in Mark 11:23-24,

"Whosoever shall say unto this mountain be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them."

This is what the word of God says! If you believe these scriptures, you will ask in faith believing. So, why don't you sit down and make a list of what you want the Lord to do for you and present it to Him in faith believing that you have what you have ask Him for! When you do that, Satan will come immediately and fill your mind with doubt. Jesus said in Luke 8:11-12,

"The seed is the word of God. Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved."

In Luke 11:9, Jesus said,

"And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened."

The battle we face every day is our mind! Our mind will argue with our spirit against these promises and will make all kind of excuses why the Lord will not answer our prayers. Paul said in 2 Cor. 10:4-5,

"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ!"

So, with these powerful weapon lets start today to take control of the thoughts that flood our minds and cast down every thought that exalts itself against the truth found in the word of God. Jesus had many of the same thoughts that we have and He refuse to dwell upon them.

This is the season to celebrate the birth of Jesus our saviour and redeemer. King of kings and Lord of Lords. As Jesus was so willing to give His life for us that we might live in the righteousness of our Father and be pleasing in His sight. The world doesn't understand us and never will because we are not of this world. We came from the very throne of God our Father and the language we speak doesn't conform with the language of the world.

But what the world don't understand is that the words we speak are powerful and sharper than any two-edge sword and able to penetrate their heart and their thinking and stir up the seed of our Father that was planted in them. So, lets rejoice and give thanks to our Father for His great love for us! He had to turn His back on Jesus for our redemption! If that isn't love the ocean is dry and there is no stars in the sky and the sparrows can't fly!
